Emeka Anyanwu

CEO & Founder of Sharing Hope Medical Mission USA

Born and raised in Nigeria, Emeka Anyanwu has spent nearly 20 years working in the medical field in the United States. His experience in healthcare, combined with his deep commitment to improving global health, inspired him to create Sharing Hope Medical Mission USA.

Emeka’s journey toward founding the organization began with a vision to give back to communities in Africa and other underserved regions facing poor hygiene, high maternal and infant mortality rates, and rising health issues such as diabetes and breast cancer. As someone who views the world as his home, Emeka felt a strong calling to make a difference and provide access to the quality healthcare many communities desperately need.

In January 2019, during his first mission trip, Emeka witnessed firsthand the impact of medical outreach, seeing the joy on the faces of patients and the dedication of doctors and nurses who worked tirelessly to provide care. This experience solidified his commitment to continue bridging the healthcare gap and improving the lives of those in need.

Emeka’s goal is to share the knowledge, skills, and resources of the medical community to save lives and improve health outcomes, one person at a time. Through clinical patient care, surgical operations, health education, and community outreach, Emeka leads a passionate team of volunteers who are dedicated to making a lasting difference. He is committed to continuing this vital work through Sharing Hope Medical Mission USA and spreading hope to those who need it most.
